Vaccinated travellers from Kuwait now allowed entry into Italy

29 October 2021

As per the latest rules from the Italian Health Ministry, travellers from Kuwait are permitted to enter Italy for tourism, and do not require quarantine.

Therefore, the Embassy of Italy informed that issuing visas has begun on 27th October, and travellers can now submit applications for Schengen Visa through VFS Global.

For all other types of visas including National, medical, study, official visits, applications need to be submitted to the Embassy.

The entry in Italian territory is, however, allowed only to vaccinated people, and they should be vaccinated with any of the four vaccines that are recognized there, including AstraZenecia, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer and Moderna.

Among the other conditions for entry into Italy are “submission of a passenger locator form” that are available online or at the airport, apart from a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before landing.
