The Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority has released a set of rules to ensure safe resumption of air travel next month, KUNA said.

The guidelines include random testing of passengers, maintaining physical distancing and mandatory use of face masks.

The departing travellers are required to produce negative Covid-19 certificates prior to their departure flight.

Manual checking of tickets has been replaced with digital scanning to avoid physical contact.

The Kuwait International Airport will begin allowing commercial flights from 1st August at more than 30 percent capacity, and the resumption will be continued in three stages.
