The Oxford index tracts a wide range of measures taken by the governments in dealing with the COVID-19 outbreak.

Kuwait topped the index with 100 percent score on almost all indicators. The first seven indicators included factors such as school closures, travel bans etc., which fall under ordinal scale, while the rest are financial indicators like fiscal or monetary measures.

Beginning 30th May, the curfew in Kuwait has been eased, and is now from 6pm to 6am.

Kuwait has been working hard to keep the coronavirus pandemic under control. The country began its 16-hour curfew in April. In early May, the country announced 24-hour lockdown due to quick surge in cases.

Although infections continued to increase during the round-the-clock curfew too, the authorities have enforced strict precautionary measures, including imprisonment of people for not wearing a mask.
