GDG & WTM Kuwait City has organized Kuwait National Cybersecurity CTF and training with CyberTalent and WiCSME. This will be held as a part of IWD Kuwait City 2020 convention and participants can demonstrate their technical abilities at KFAS center on 12th March.
In support of KFAS, Trend Micro, NIU, Ahli Bank of Kuwait, Deloitte and Munjiza, they want to discover the best cybersecurity talents in Kuwait with a focus on promoting the skills of women in tech.
The CTF will be a Jeopardy Style where every team will have a list of challenges in different categories like Reverse Engineering, Web Security, Digital Forensics, Network Security and others. The team who will get the highest score at the end of the day wins.
Each team should have a minimum of 1 woman member to help promote their representation in the field with IWD 2020 theme #eachforequal
Prizes include cash prized and representing Kuwait at The Arab and Africa Cyber Security CTF 2020 (fully funded for 1st winning team).
