MoCI: Food distribution to frontline workers of Covid-19 pandemic is not linked to the cash rewards.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) will distribute free food ration to front line workers (for employees of the ministries of Health and Interior for the citizens, Gulf nationals, bedoun and expatriates) from Jan 1 to Jan 16, 2022.
Al-Qabas quoting reliable sources said the Ministry of Health will prepare a list of names of deserving employees so they can benefit from the long-awaited free supplies. The ministry is said to have allocated 50 million dinars to meet the cost of these rewards.
MoCI said food distribution to frontline workers who supported the ministries of health and Interior in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic is not linked to the cash rewards.
The Al-Rai daily quoting sources said citizens will get their prescribed quota from normal outlets while a number of centers will be established in all governorates for the benefit of eligible expatriates.
