The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) granted a total of KD 30 million (about USD 95 million) in support of governmental efforts to confront the coronavirus.

The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) has pledged KD 30 million (about USD 95 million) to support government efforts to tackle the spread of coronavirus.
In a statement, the KFAED, whose object is to assist Arab and other developing countries in developing their economies, said that the grant will come from its social responsibility fund.
To date, there are 208 confirmed cases in Kuwait, including 1 new case reported so far on Thursday.
KFAED also expressed a sense of admiration to efforts exerted by the medical and nursing cadres and other parties at all levels during combating the spread of the virus, and to preserve the health and safety of citizens and residents in the country.
