The debts owed to the Kuwait Ministry of Communications amounted to KD 98.5 million as of the current fiscal year.
According to informed sources from the Ministry, some of them are dues for telegraph, telephone, and telex services, others are distributed between cable segments and amounts for employees.
The sources warned against failure to collect these debts, considering that they are public funds that must be recovered as soon as possible by establishing a comprehensive supervisory system to address the reasons leading to the continued inflation of the debt, and finding an appropriate mechanism to follow up on the aforementioned dues.
