The Director-General of the Kuwait Municipality, Eng. Ahmad Al-Manfouhi stressed on the need to support for Kuwaiti youth and find job opportunities for them by including the technical and special conditions for the projects to be put forward, so that the number of Kuwaitis in the technical supervisory or advisory staff is not less than 50% for each contract, reports Al-Qabas daily.
In a circular he issued regarding the technical supervisory staff for special contracts in the municipality, he called to put the necessary fines in the penalties clause in the contracts for each day in the event that the contractor does not comply with the specified percentage, taking into account the accuracy in choosing the members of the technical staff of the consulting office and the contractor.
