Oxford Business Group teams up with KDIPA

New Growth and Recovery Video titled “Leveraging Kuwait’s Strategic Location through the Development of Economic Zones”, produced by Oxford Business Group (OBG) in partnership with the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) revealed Kuwait plans to pivot sustainable growth and diversification at the core of its long term strategic development.

The video promotes Kuwait first economic zone in Al Abdali which is strategically located in northern Kuwait near the Iraqi border and close to the mega Northern Zone project and the planned Mubarak AlKabeer port.

The video show cases Kuwait’s efforts to attract impact investments into Al Abdali Economic Zone to contribute to Kuwait’s growth and recovery, through the creation of competitive clusters in high value-added industries that support the current national efforts to transform and diversify the economy, develop national exports, foster innovation, and create new job opportunities for young citizens.

The overall impact in line with the IMF assessment of Kuwait’s economy to be well on the path to post-pandemic recovery, with real GDP estimated to have grown by 8.7% in 2022, and to maintain a strong outlook over the medium term.
