Al-Tijaria upgraded to the Premier market

The Commercial Real Estate Company (“Al-Tijaria”) has succeeded in obtaining the qualification from the Main Market to join the “Premier Market” in the Kuwait Stock Exchange (Boursa Kuwait); as of today, Sunday February 12, 2023.

The CEO of Al-Tijaria, Eng. Abdulmutaleb Marafie, affirmed that Al-Tijaria’s qualification to the premier market is the result of the years of efforts and hard work to fulfill the upgrading requirements of Boursa Kuwait with regards to the minimum market capitalization of KWD 78 million and daily trading volume.

Moreover, during the past 2 years of the Boursa’s annual review, the daily and capital value of the company’s shares has reached as a minimum of KD 78 million to qualify and no penalties were issued on Al-Tijaria from regulators, which confirms the company’s adherence to all the applicable standards; given the fact that Al-Tijaria continuously commits to corporate governance and transparency in order to strengthen and enhance the confidence of stakeholders.

Furthermore, Mr. Marafie appreciated the Board of Directors, executive management, and staff for their valuable efforts and endeavors to make this strategy successful.
