Chalets are considered an important destination for families and friends to spend quality time during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Considering that the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr holiday is long, many citizens and expatriates have opted to travel and so there is more availability of chalets in this period for those who wanted to stay within the country.
However, the demand for chalets is still high and there has been steady increase in rental fees. The one week rent for a chalet is KD1,500 and KD900 for three days.
The chalet rental fees vary based on the location, proximity to the creek, number of rooms, and availability of a private swimming pool. Most tenants prefer daily cleaning service; in addition to proximity to various facilities, shopping centers, cafés, restaurants, mosque and recreational areas for children.
